If you'd like a full automatic recording mode and get started more quickly, just use PowerGramo. It has a simple user interface and the recording quality is pretty good.

I have been using MX Skype recorder for years and it has never missed a beat. Great tool. But you should mention that the free version has limits on the length of recording - podcasters are going to need to purchase a licence - pretty cheap overall though and great value with free upgrades (so far).

Hot Recorder is a steaming pile of poop and should not even be mentioned. The recorded results are inferior, it crashes and there is much better software solutions out there. On top of all that the support is non existent. IMHO it should not be recommended to anyone.
